Commemorative compilation for the 50th anniversary of the Miami Beach Sr. High School Rock Ensemble. Founded in 1972 by music teacher Clark "Doug" Burris, who made a remarkable impact on his students and the community as he continued teaching even after his illness confined him to a wheelchair, unable to play any musical instruments. This original "School of Rock" has decades of talented students and alumni as heard on this set. All proceeds of this twenty-five track collection will go to keep the Rock Ensemble music program going.
